Launched in the US in 2013, Hinge was founded with the mission of keeping dating real. The result is an experience that feels much like meeting serendipitously through friends at a dinner party – but on your phone. A smarter, simpler way to connect with the people you might have eventually met through friends.

Using Facebook as the base to find people who are in your extended social network, Hinge uses social proximity to create matches, as opposed to geo-location.

 

OBJECTIVE

The global brand approached Creative Co. to assist with their launch in India. An event needed to be conceptualized that would introduce the brand to celebrities, socialites, and influencers in conjunction with an identified, focused target audience. The launch was to be supplemented by PR and Marketing activities. The launch was to be amplified via PR, and post event, on-going PR & Marketing was to be consistently maintained.

 

STRATEGY

Creative Co. came up with a complete launch strategy to create excitement and amplify visibility for the brand via media stories, along with the use of strategic advertising like radio. The event saw an overwhelming response from the who’s who of the city, which consequently rolled over into an extensive waiting list for the app across the country. To sustain the momentum that had been created, regular engagement was designed to keep the app top of mind for both consumers, and media.
